Family:
Family can mean something different to all who think of the word. For some it may be bonds of love, and caring that hold one another together through thick and thin. For others it may be simply a trap that is sprung on us at the moment of our birth. What does it mean to you?
For me family means caring. I have many that I consider a part of my family, even though there is no blood relation. When I am in the world of Norrath, I see all those around me as members of an ever growing family. So I ask of you, what is a family?
Faith:
Faith is another word that means different things to different people. We are coming on the time of year in the Earthen realm where faith and beliefs carry people throughout the time. Many will find these times trying on their souls as they reflect upon what the time means to them. So I ask you, what does it mean to you?
Some will call the coming season "Christmas", "Yule", or "Chanukah". It matters naught what one calls it, the meaning stands the same. To some it means family and sharing, and to others it means religion and faith. I ask, what does it mean to you?
Family and Faith:
For me faith and family go hand in hand. Though I carry not the same beliefs that my parents hold dear to them, they are still two of the most important people in my life. Gorheru, who is my brother, though no blood relation nor bonds of marriage hold us to one another, holds many religious beliefs which are foreign to me, but I love him regaurdless, because he is family.
I ask each of you to look into your soul, and see what the words family and faith mean to you. If you feel like sharing, I greatly enjoy knowing more of what is held within ones soul. If you care not to share, then simply hold it within and cherish the thoughts, for these things strengthen our souls.
