The holidays are upon us, and the sounds of christmas music blares from almost every radio you can tune into. The bustle of people running this way and that as each new sale entices us with the package of glittering hope that we will once again find the perfect gift to satisfy Aunt Mildred's ecclectic tastes. A Santa at every mall, and a bell ringer at every exit there of. Houses covered in electric lights, and emergency rooms full of folks who should have hired a professional to hang those lights.
Cardboard cutouts of reindeer, candycanes, and Baby Jesus standing around lifesized trains overloaded with gifts and toys.
8 maids a milkin
7 swans a swimin
6 geese a layin
and 5 more reasons not to even bother with all the rest of the shenanigins that have become Cristmas here in the United States of North America.
STOP
take a deep breath
and remember
This is a time to remember, there shall not be another one moment exactly like this. There are no guarantees no promises of the future. You might not be here to remember this moment the next time it appears on our calendar.
Look around at those you love, heck look at those you don't particularly care for as well. This moment might be all that you will ever have of them, or possibly even yourself. Know that this is the time to remember to reach out to your fellow man (and woman as the case may be). To let them know they aren't alone on this big ol blue orb known as earth.
It's easy to forget that at times, with so much ribbon and brightly colored packages. Not to mention the cookies (which i am quite fond of) or ham, or turkey (or even Tofu-rkey (yuk)). It's easy to forget that at other times of the year as well, but this time is different.
For not only are winter celebrations gathering around us even as I type this, another year is about to be over, and a new one is about to be begun. Take a moment and reflect, stand and know that you are the person that cares for his/her fellow man (or woman) make peace with yourself... make peace with your year... make peace with your fellow man.
In this message I hope you will take the time to stop and recognise your fellow man (hehe, or woman). To remember those who have come before, and who will come long after. To place your value in those we call friend, and to appreciate those challenges that could be called by some an enemy. To know that what we give out in shiny packages is never as valued as the intent in which something is given, nor is it as precious as the gift of ourselves in someone elses life.
I wish you and your's a very blessed Holiday, and a Happy new year.

Further News:
Janden has been named the newest Minister of the AG. He has the experience in many areas and we are quiet elated over his acceptance! Give him encouragment and a salute!
Winter in Fear is being discussed a bit. Thoughts of the past Winter Celebrations is in the minds of many, as well. We just might see a merging of the two somehow soon. Stay tuned!
EQ2 - The Future seems to be bright!
Brief recap: AG was formed 3 days after the opening of the Antonia Bayle server. Current officers are Tibbarian, Bristle, Tangletwigs, Ratilda, Balterzar and Gwanalla.
Plans are in the works for more to be added within the foreseeable future.
A two-room apartment has been leased for a meeting place. It is in North Qeynos and all member's names will be added to the Visitor's area soon! We are looking towards guild level 10 to open some new possibilities for us. We are at 6 now.
We will try to keep up with news from the Present and the Future a bit better from here on. Make sure you keep up with the boards and the MOTD's for late-breaking reports and needed information!
