A pleasant weekend spent at Scarborough Faire.
Farielle, Faladal, Ylona, Radyn and our Regent, Gwanalla, wandered through the countryside, visiting the local shops and vendors. Good food, Family and beautiful weather followed the group as they laughed, ate and enjoyed the local entertainment.
Well, not really. :)
Early on Sunday morning, May 5th, while hunting in the jungles of Trakanon's Teeth, a small group of Ancient Guardians came across several ancient and pitted medallions in the possession of various Froglok hunters and gatherers. Pitted by age and hard use, the medallions were etched with the image of an Iksar of noble bearing and outlined with the peculiar, sinous script of the Combine Empire.
Two of the group recognized them for what they were, and led the party to a cave in a cliff wall, deep in the southern part of the jungle. There, they encountered the shade of Ganak, once Emperor of the Combine and supreme leader of the ancient Iksar empire in Sebilis. Ganak, great-grandson of Venril Sathir, accepted the medallions and presented the party with small figurines of Trakanon, the undead Dragon who currently holds sway in the ruins of Sebilis. Ganak urged the party to use these figurines to gain entry to Sebilis, and to destroy Trakanon so that Sebilis might once again be raised as the seat of the Iksar in Kunark.
The party thanked Ganak and begged the Emperor's permission for a picture before departing. Congratulations to Kashekee, Gwanalla and former Ancient Guardian Ayriana for obtaining keys to the city of Sebilis!
On April 27th, several Ancient Guardians accompanied our Allies Ethereal Realms on their regular monthly foray into the Plane of Hate. Things went very smoothly, once again, and we are grateful to our allies for putting together another successful Hate raid!
A number of interesting items fell, and both Farielle and Radyn obtained some Hate pieces. Many monsters were slain, but alas, none of the mini-bosses. The Lord Innoruuk was present, but (happily) he was occupied with matters of state and did not come downstairs to see what the clamour was about in the Pipe Organ Hall!
