Ancient Guardians returned victorius from Kael Drakkal on Monday night, bearing a trove of loot. Luethar Treewalker led a couple of groups of Family, plus a few special guests, into the Kael Arena for several hours of Giant-bashing fun!

The Ancient Guardians' Raid Point database system was restored to service yesterday, following an outage introduced by the recent move of the site to new server hardware.
The system, which had been functional since early May, contained the results from several of Aanwen's Friday Night raids -- including the names and raid-point balances of each player who had attended Ancient Guardian raids during this period. During the recovery, however, the contents of the system were lost because of an error during the recovery process.
"I'm embarrassed beyond words," said Radyn Truthsinger, the administrator of the site. "In a single moment of blinding stupidity, I forgot everything I ever learned about good data-processing practices, and the result was that all the RP data was erased." Radyn acknowledged that he should have first backed up the database before performing such extensive recovery operations on it.
Fortunately, most of the data were saved in an offline format by Aanwen Tresblou, the main raid leader during this period. "Good [thing] I have a back up locally of my data base," said Aanwen. "No worries! I'll get the info back in ASAP."
The Ancient Guardians Raid Point system is up and running again. Members are encouraged to visit the site and register their characters with the RP system. The RP system can be found at http://www.ancientguardians.com/eqdkp.
