Sunday, July 21 proved to be a grueling day for two of our Family!
At 3:00pm central time, the call came out. "VS IS UP!!!" And with that, people who love our Farielle came from all points in Norrath to try and acheive the last piece for the Wizard Epic! Battles insued...one after the other...for 5 hours. In the end, Ashorty was called by our Secen to help the tired band of fighters! Within minutes of his arrival, Venril Sethir was dead. The fight had taken it's toll, yet the demon beast did not give up the desired treasure! Worn and weary, condolances were given, but bravely, Farielle announced, "Who is with us to kill the General for Zern?" Venril Sethir would come another day!
Kithicor Forest was dark and forbidding. The weary joined fresh fighters and gathered around five Rogues who would seek their Epic prize that day...hopefully. Zern was there, anxious and pacing, trying not to show his excitment too much. The feline rolled third for the coveted piece and the hunt began!
The Teir'Dal General proved hard and the fights were costly! But...Zern held his breath! If he was lucky, the Quill would drop and he would get his Epic that very night. Otherwise, there would be another step and the RageBringer would have to wait! But, when the General succumbed, Zern went to him and checked the pockets and found the Quill stuck in the lining of the General's jacket. VICTORY! And after assisting his fellows, he, accompanied by Farielle and Ylona, set forth to secure the hard-earned weapon! Purring could be heard for miles!
Thursday, July 25th - The sand was hot in the desert beyond Freeport, but Saryth called to see if there would be help obtaining his Soulfire sword. Answering this plea, Secen, Radyn, Ayriana, Gwanalla, Tzun, Orenogo and a friend of Saryth's from the Paladin Guild dropped whatever they had planned and assembled to help their friend and brother.
Secen took the lead and Lucan was soon called from his room and Gwanalla raced thru the desert with guards on her heels! Before long, Lucan's body was searched and Saryth pulled the from it the last piece he needed for his sword. Asking his friends to join him, they fought thru Paw to the jail, and there, Sartyh spoke to Brother Hayle and turned back, the Soulfire brightly shining in his hand!
Congratulations to you both. And beware, Venril Sethir! Your time is short in Norrath!
